Zodiacal Houses
   In Nordic myth certain of the houses of the Aesir and the Asynjor have been identified as signs of the Zodiac. Gladsheim, the house of Odin, has been identified as the circumpolar stars which do not at present constitute a sign of the Zodiac. A list of equivalents is given below: Skadi, Thrym-heim (Taurus); Vali and Vidar, Valaskjali (Valhalla) Breidablik (Gemini); Heimdall, Himinbjorg (Cancer); Freyja, Folkvangr, Sessrumnir (Leo); Forseti, Glitnir (Virgo); Njord, Noatun (Libra, Scorpio); Ullr, Ydalir (Sagittarius); Freyr, Alfheim (Capricorn, Aquarius); Saga, Sokkvabekk (Pisces).
